About the instructor
Dr. John Athas
Dr. John Athas began teaching and tutoring Physician Assistants eleven years ago after a long career as a internist and level 1 trauma E.R. physician at the University of Miami affiliated hospitals. Over the course of his career, Dr. Athas has taught medical students, interns and physician assistants. Dr. Athas also taught microbiology, anatomy, physiology and chemistry as an adjunct professor at a number colleges and universities throughout Massachusetts and Florida. Dr. Athas is passionate about teaching and draws upon his long career as a physician to educate PA Students and PA Graduates.
Dr. Athas truly enjoys teaching and talking with students. When his students do well, he feels a special joy, both for the student and as a sense of personal accomplishment!
